Welcome to the exhibition of the Argentinian artist Margarita Iribarren. Since 2008 she has lived and worked in Gothenburg,  and has had several exhibitions in Sweden, Argentina and Spain.

Margarita was born in southern Argentina in 1978. At eighteen she moved to Mar del Plata, in the Province of Buenos Aires, to study art. She spent four years training as an illustrator and graphic designer.

Margarita has painted pictures most of her life, often abstract but also motifs of people and animals. Her art is very expressive and rich in colour and detail.
