I en liten liten värld
I en liten liten värld
Small World
Walking trough thoughts, cars, books, street lights, bikes, people, breakfast, dinner, travel landscapes, inner landscapes… So fast, so anxious we could be in the middle of a scene before we even get there, and we could even get trough it and be back without ever notice. The usual, every day dream, our out of scale perception and how each one of us is so into our personal world that we can not see what is happening around. How big everything is and then we manage to move into a small world. Why the size of a truck could not be the same as my personal scale of a tea cup? What is after the end of the table?
Step by step walking, dreaming or maybe awake, not sure when and where was is it, but I am sure, believe it or not, I saw it. I saw it with my own eyes.
About my work
The main idea is to shock something so real as photography with elements that distorts the harmony of the daily lifetime, takes us to a new and different situations. The thin line between the real world and what is beyond us. The constant search to generate characters to tell stories through one image.
Looking the sketches of what it will come a photo, I start a speculation game where I try to go ahead to the happening and in a few seconds, possible images outcomes of an unfinished history.
In the last years I focus my self on making our heros in the middle of a complex situation, almost as a joke, trying to have a still moving image.
Its hard but at the same time easy to fantasies during the day. The whole idea is to show what works for me as a everyday dream. Surrealistic situation that make me think about what if turn on the right corner or maybe if I can get on the right time on the right moment to have a look on something spectacular something no one else could see, or maybe is something they don't bother to pay attention.
